The library covers the Approved Documents to the Building Regulations alongside the principal legislation and statutory guidance governing UK building safety and construction, including the Building Safety Act 2022, CDM 2015 and the Fire Safety Order 2005. Coverage is extended over time; British Standards are licensed publications and are not reproduced here. This is the same corpus the AI assistant draws from when answering compliance questions, and every answer cites the source it came from.

Every Architectural Intelligence response that draws from a regulatory source includes a citation link. Clicking the link opens the exact document, navigating directly to the cited page and section, so you can read the primary source without searching for it.

Citations carry page number and section metadata extracted during document ingestion. The document viewer opens at the precise location referenced by the AI (paragraph, table, or diagram), removing any ambiguity about what was cited and why.

General-purpose AI is not yet a reliable source of truth. The Regulatory Library exists specifically to close that gap: every significant AI claim can be cross-examined against the source document before it influences a design decision or regulatory submission.

The library is independently searchable. Users can browse by document category, search across all indexed content by keyword or regulation reference, and open source documents directly without needing to prompt the AI.

The indexed corpus is maintained and updated as regulations change. When Approved Documents are revised or new statutory guidance is issued, the library is re-ingested so the AI's retrieval layer and the user-facing document viewer stay in sync.
