How Project Chronicle works
Three-Tier Audit Architecture
Records are classified into three tiers: Golden Thread (safety-critical BSA events), Project Ledger (significant project decisions), and Activity Log (routine workflow actions), each surfaceable independently.
Field-Level Change Diffs
Every audit record expands to show a before/after comparison at the individual field level, making it straightforward to understand exactly what changed, when, and by whom.
Golden Thread Records
BSA-relevant events are automatically classified as Golden Thread records and surfaced with priority indicators. These records satisfy the Building Safety Act 2022 requirements for structured information retention.
User Attribution & Identity
Every action is attributed to the user who performed it, with timestamp and IP address. Company-level identity redaction policies can pseudonymise user identifiers for privacy compliance.
Project & Company Scope
The audit trail can be filtered to a single project or viewed across all company records. Tier filtering allows quick navigation to safety-critical or decision-level entries.
Compliance-Ready Export
The structured audit log supports export for regulatory review, client handover, and H&S File compilation, ensuring your project's decision history is always audit-ready.
