How Collaboration Canvas works

2D Freeform Whiteboard

A React Flow-powered canvas for sticky notes, image embeds, evaluation matrices, and embedded 3D model previews. Full undo/redo history, keyboard shortcuts, and auto-save to the project database.

3D Massing Canvas

A Three.js environment for placing and manipulating building volumes with measure, select, translate, scale, and rotate tools. Real-time GFA, footprint, floor count, and FAR metrics update as volumes change.

Evaluation Matrices

Structured multi-criteria evaluation matrices embedded directly on the canvas allow teams to score and compare design options, sites, or strategies without leaving the workspace.

Site & Constraint Layers

The massing canvas imports site boundary and LiDAR topography data directly from Location Intelligence. Height limit and flood level constraint planes are visualised automatically from project parameters.

Mapbox Geospatial Backdrop

Satellite imagery, 3D terrain, and extruded surrounding buildings underlay the massing scene with one-way camera synchronisation. Layers for satellite, boundary, terrain, and constraints are individually toggled.
